Hello!

Hi, I’m Sarah O’Connell.

I live on the Wild Atlantic Way in Sligo…which means loads of opportunities for amazing photos! I work part time as a landscape photographer, which brings my love of the outdoors and different strands of my life together.

Through my photos I want to bring the healing powers of the land and sea into our everyday surroundings.  Being part of nature, our built environment contributes more to our wellness when it includes nature’s colours & forms.

Contact me at the following link if you are wondering how you could improve a room .. or uplift somebody’s day with a landscape scene or a coastal view:  https://sligophotos.ie/contact/

Enjoy & thanks for visiting!

Sarah

Having studied science, Feng Shui & digital photography I am blessed to be using all three creatively.  I make prints, cards & calendars that show the beauty of the natural world … and give viewers a peaceful moment in their busy days.

Since 2019 I have taken part in exhibitions held by the community of creatives known as the Easkey Artists Exhibition Group.

Keep an eye out for our Autumn exhibition in Abhainn Studio, Enniscrone

Ode to the bees ..

Plants that provide food for wild bees was what inspired my love for photography.  Irish wildflowers are captivating to photograph and very hard working! So many tiny creatures know where and and when to find the exact bloom to meet their needs!

I made a collection of Spring wildflower photos for us to appreciate their lovely blooms. I hope to also add a collection of the Summer wildflowers that bloom along this section of the Wild Atlantic Way.
